It was easy to get in touch with the company in order to find out more and to get the advice and design ideas needed. The design ideas given helped us achieve the same look as the original windows of the 1905 vintage. This included perfect replicas of stained glass windows, now double glazed. In the part of the house built in 1990, allowing more light as well as passive heating in winter were the important features achieved. All the items seem to be of lasting quality. Our house has become a more comfortable place to live in. it is wonderful not to have any rattling windows or noisy neighbors keeping us awake, fluttering curtains making us cold or gaps letting in insects. The double glazed windows keep the heat, cold, insects and noise out when closed. The difference is quite dramatic. All the fittings look good and operate easily and smoothly. The big sliding door is magic. It is so much easier to safely cool and air the house due to the various ways the windows and doors can be opened than what we had before.
